Jon Derby and his wife Kerry had split up after years of marriage. Jon was devastated, but they had drifted apart and eventually made the mutual decision to go their separate ways.
Since she left, Jon had busied himself by getting back into running, and spending time sorting out the yard and garden. He had finally motivated himself to install a small pool in the back garden, surrounded by low shrubs and with some nice evening lighting. It couldn't be overlooked by any of the neighbours.
His neighbours were pretty normal quiet families and couples. The Anderson to the right were in their 50s, so a little older than Jon in his 40s, but he got on well with them, making small talk etc.
The Crightons to the left were I their late 30s. They were always having people over, male friends, the odd female, and the odd couple. Many of whom he never saw more than once or twice again. They had a daughter called Emma, 18 and a son Jack who was 21 and at Uni.
Jon always was polite and passed the time of day with them all. After a conversation with David Anderson one day, Jon discovered his break up was the talk of the neighbourhood. David told him that several of the single housewives had shown quite an interest. Jon laughed, he wasn't sure he was ready for that. David told him that the men had been more interested in knowing about all of the yard work he had been doing.
Jon showed David the pool and said that David and his wife Janet were welcome to use it sometime. That night came round quickly and Jon looked out of his window to see them kissing in the secluded pool as David undid Janet's bikini top. Jon left them to it, closed his blinds and lay on the bed and drifted off to sleep.
A few days later he bumped into Emma Crighton. Jon was just finishing his run when she came running in the opposite direction. "Hi Mr Derby," said Emma. Jon replied, saying he thought it would be OK for her to call him Jon.
"So Jon", she replied "I'm glad I bumped into you. I overheard the Andersons tailing about your awesome pool and how you let them use it, and I wondered.... We'll I wondered if I could get some time in it? Please"
Jon laughed, so his pool was now the talk of the neighbourhood. Better that than his failed marriage he supposed.
"I guess so, Emma" Jon spoke. "you can use it when I am at work. Let yourself through the side gate, and it's at the back where the shrubs are. I will make sure it's nice and warm"
Emma smiled and bounced up and down In joy. Jon couldn't help but notice her firm breasts jiggling as she did so. "ah to be young again" he thought to himself.
