Thread is open and the person asks for sample PM. Once you reply is it customary for the owner of the thread to let you know if you are accepted or not? I've replied to a couple of threads with sample of my writing and never heard back one way or the other and the threads still are open. What am i doing wrong?

Guess some people are just rude. Or busy. Keep trying, you'll get into one soon enough I'm sure. Maybe read this in case your writing is a little poor.
