I don't see what the harm is. I understand why it's annoying, but if you don't like the thread, don't open it.

Personally, I particularly enjoy posting after Weird Harold, it's sometimes a challenge and I quite like the way his brain works.

So, to me, while the premise is stupid, the practice is amusing.
