I'd have been surprised if I hadn't passed. I'm an English major. 'Course I'm guilty of redundancies daily in my common speech, but I figured I could get through it OK if I gave the questions a bit of thought.

guess that's why I passed.....not a major in English, but a minor....years ago. Knew it would come in handy somewhere.......

Well, Cloudy, your minor did you good. Me, I minored in substances.

Take the Anti-Redundancy Squad Entrance Exam and you too can print out a certificate which states that you are commissioned to: ensure that verbal virtue is rewarded, crimes against the language are punished, and poetic justice is done. You will also be able to issue citations for: excessive political correctness, jargon outside specialized context, misplaced apostrophe, 'impact' misused as a verb, etc.

Word Police Exam

Alright, I was curious on first reading this. Then I scrolled down through the forum's thread and saw how many people were trying it out and got more and more curious.

So I tried it myself.

<sigh>
Damn "Cannot Open" messages...oh well, I'll give it another shot later on...
