I'm not sure of anyone here follows tennis but I heard of some controversy about John McEnroe blasting the Williams sisters for not being humble and calling them disrespectful. Now, I am a hug Venus and Serena fan because they kick ass, but not once have I seen them be rude or disrespectful to anyone. The way I see things is, that JM has some damn nerve. Isn't he the one that's famous for his temper. Could it be that he may have another hidden reason for not liking these two tennis dynamos. If you think about it really hard, you make just guess what I'm hinting at.

John McEnroe is a major wuss. He is an over the hill jock who can't face the fact that no one cares what he does anymore. I think the Williams sisters rock! They are talented athletes & I think they are great role models for kids, not just girls.Whenever I have watched them, they have always seemed very respectful to their opponents, as well as officials, interviewers, etc. McEnroe made some really rude remarks about any man on the senior tour being able to beat the Williams sisters. In his dreams, maybe. His mouth was always his trademark, his temper tantrums were amazing things to watch, he looked like a very tall 2 year old. I can't think of anyone who would want their kids to grow up to be like McEnroe, but I know that my best friends little girl adores Serena & Venus.

Anyone who follows tennis knows that the williams sisters
are a bunch of winners who would rather quit then lose a match.They also have little respect for tennis history or other players.All you have to do is read there comments to know that.As for John McNroe he may be a hothead but if you listen to him no one knows more about tennis history then he does.Maybe if the williams sisters would grow up instead of being a couple of babies more people and other players would like them.

OMYGOD.. I have always always been a McEnroe fan. His temper is notorious and he DOES appear to act like a 2 yr old sometimes, but he knows tennis and he's been around a LOT longer than the Serena and Venus and although I like both sisters, I have to side with McEnroe. Their father has done more negative things in the tennis sport than McCauly Caulkin (sp?) has done in Showbiz. He's a hothead and has made their life lessons from winning rather than learning from the game in general.

Sorry, but I still love McEnroe and probably always will... read up on him and maybe you'll gain a little more respect for his position in the sport instead of judging him solely on his outburts.

Couldn't agree with you more, Racket technology has pretty much ruined the sport, no finesse, loved those long volleys between Mac and Borg. That was good tennis.

As much as I dont like the Mac... the Williams sisters have as much attitude and don't seem to have the skills that Mac and even now in the womens game Hingus exhibits(I know she whines too), she usually only gets beaten by brute force.
