The acoustic demos of his album tracks I find to be much better than the actual album versions. Too much production spoils a good thing. Bought the CD, listened to it twice, but I've got MP3s that are pretty schwell.

He and Glen Phillips (Glen Phillips = god) did a tour together last year. I've got some good tracks of them playing together - 'Walk On the Ocean', 'Celebrate' (Kool & the Gang).

And, while he writes in a different vein, there are times when I'd swear he was doing a Dave Matthews impression.

Isn't he a doll? So sweet looking and talented and he has the sexiest speaking voice. The tips of his fingers are rough from playing but the palms are sooooo soft it was hard not to lick them!


Oh and Wax is right, the live versions are better!

Wow........I was going to start a thread on him, and was
beaten to the punch! That's okay though I am
very happy someone else did start this thread!


Oh yeah......."No Such Thing" has been played very often
on the NYC radio, also some CT radio stations........though
I am disappointed in two local CT radio stations that
havent' seemed to pick up on this. Also the video has
been getting a lot of airplay on VH1.........


He graduated from my old high school 2 years after me........his
older brother (who graduated a year after I did) was in my
chemistry class, and his younger brother graduated in
my sister's class.........


Amazing........local talent going national..........!!! Yeah!

He was just in NYC last month at Central Park (couldn't
go.....had work that nite plus the show was sold out!).....
but I am hoping that he'd come back home and perform
here.....which would be real awesome.

No question.......his CD has a unique sound......besides

I've love this guy's music. I went to buy his CD and my 17 yr old daughter wouldn't let me. She's downloaded a bunch of his stuff and burned me a CD -- an early b'day presssie and I'm so impressed.

Did you notice on his website that he encourages taping of his performances and file sharing on the internet. Very very cool. Much of what my daughter downloaded was taped by fans and it's awesome. The acoustic version of "No Such Thing" I have is much easier to understand than the radio version.
