John Ashcroft is the real criminal!

The U.S. government's practice since Sept. 11 of jailing material witnesses to the apparent terrorist attack that day has been dealt a serious blow by U.S. District Jusdge Shira Scheindlin. She held that jailing a material witness for a grand jury investigation is unconstitutional. Hats off to you, judge!

Uhhh . . . I think you got it backwards, sd412, she didn't jail the "guy," she dismissed the charges against him. Ashcroft is a criminal, in my opinion, because he is attacking our democratic rights (what little we have left) and represents a grave threat to our freedom.
