Our beloved Joey suffered a heart attack on Monday and went through heart surgery having a stint placed in his heart. He wanted his friends to know why he has not been around is recouperating at home. Lets all say a prayer for Joeys speedy recovery

I have to take lots of pills, my doc says, for at least a year but better than any pill is the concern of friends. You all have made me feel really good....thank you all so much

I had three arteries completely blocked with cheeseburgers, fries, and potato chips. The doc put in several of those stent things (a new kind that's supposed to last longer). I'm bleeding a lot cuz of all the blood thinners and "Joeyland" is all sore and swollen and black 'n blue but heh, I'm still alive and able to shop

Talk about progress. Massive heart attack on Tuesday...home on Thursday. Thanks again everybody. I have to spend a lot of time horizontal but in between will get back here eventually
