Youre right, Joe; its scary when you cant ask a question.

"It actually upsets me," Mr. Wurzelbacher said. "I am a plumber, and just a plumber, and here Barack Obama or John McCain, I mean these guys are going to deal with some serious issues coming up shortly. The media's worried about whether I paid my taxes, they're worried about any number of silly things that have nothing to do with America. They really don't. I asked a question. When you can't ask a question to your leaders anymore, that gets scary. That bothers me."

He certainly has a point. There are better things for the media to do. He had a legit question and if he checked out as legit, as in really looking into buying his bosses business, there would be no story.

Politically, this is a non-issue even though Huckabee is doing the Fox thing.

JOMAR

The media is making it a story, and now it has teeth and feet.

Most people are like Joe, and they dont appreciate the media rifling thru their underwear drawer when they ask candidate's questions.

Obamania reminds me of my high school football team. The last game of the season my school 0-13 played a team tied for #1 (13-0), it was also their Homecoming. With 2 minutes left in the game the score was 13-0...we were losing, as everyone expected. And in 2 minutes we won 14-13. We completed a hail mary pass, and intercepted a pass. Disbelief!

Kind of like the UNC-UVa game yesterday, huh.

I wouldn't like it either, but the media on both sides do that kind of stuff. The candidates have to effectively manage the spin. I don't think it's a gimme for Obama either, but I'd be surprised if he did piss it away.
