On Confidence…
"When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things."

What else is he known for now? A bit sad really.
Why? "The majority of men lead lives of quiet desperation." He was good at something, the top of his profession. What more could you ask for?

"Now in our 32nd year, the Joe Namath/John Dockery Football Camp offers instructional football for campers between the ages of 8-18. The camp is broken down into four divisions based on size, ability, and previous playing experience. Camp for the summer of 2003 is scheduled for July 6-11 at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. "

Joe Willy Namath was my hero growing up. I remember watching him play as a young kid and always idolized him. Unfortunately, even though I started watching football at a very young age, I missed him lead the Jets to the Superbowl!

He was the man back then, before anyone else was!

I had zero interest in feetball at all until Broadway Joe came along. He was tres cool and classy and funny.

I used to love watching him and Howard Cosell.

A funny Biker

Joe starred in a movie called, "Chrome Hearts". He rode a righteous zebra striped chopped Shovelhead, and tangled with William Smith, and did some carpet bumpin' with Ann Margaret.

Joe could toss.

It seemed effortless for him to loft a bomb.

The ball seemed to actually shoot off his fingers.

I'm not lying...
