Jodie Foster directs "The Beaver"

People who buy tickets without having seen the trailer should sue.

OK. So far, people who should sue a) Jerry Mathers, b)People who buy tickets without having seen the trailer and I think c) Canadians, as the Beaver is the National animal of the country.

Keep 'em coming.:D

So Mel is willing to be photographed with his hand up the beaver?
A real career booster, that.

Finally saw this. Premise was fine; delivery just wasn't that great. The son's sub-plot was a bad diversion - way too American Beauty-esque.

And the soundtrack...wow. Really bad.

The composed music--the score--or the existing songs they chose to include?

The score. Loud and jarring.

I think Foster was going for an independent film feel with it. But it stuck out like a sore thumb.

Leave it to Beaver as a movie does not sound half bad.

I got excited when I opened the thread.

Then saw the trailer. Aw.
