http://www.foxnews.com/video2/video...rtedly-taught-songs-praising-president-obama/

One song that the children were taught quotes directly from the spiritual "Jesus Loves the Little Children," though Jesus' name is replaced with Obama's: "He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight. Barack Hussein Obama."

Another lyric touts a fair-pay bill Obama signed in January: "He said we must be clear today/Equal work means equal pay."
The author of the songs is unknown, but a woman -- possibly a teacher -- can be heard in the beginning of the video correcting and helping a student who has forgotten the words. Another woman, the person holding the camera, cheers the students on: "All right," she says. "I like that."

Mm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that all must lend a hand
To make this country strong again

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said we must be fair today
Equal work means equal pay

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said that we must take a stand
To make sure everyone gets a chance

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
He said red, yellow, black or white
All are equal in his sight

Mmm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama
Yes!
Mmm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

~~~
"All are equal in his sight" They forgot to Capitalize His, to properly praise the Messiah.
And you thought the far left wing nutjobs were just kidding about the Messiah?
Think again.
Yeah, I know, source, Fox News.
Ask me if I care.
;)
Oh, by the way, children are not permitted to sing that song in public schools as it is a religous song, sunday school no less, nor can they celebrate Christmas, no public buildings can display religious symbols and 'God' is banned everywhere.
"Jesus loves the little children...doodah. doodah, hell, I may go youtube with that!
It's pretty sad that Obama's followers are so brainwashed they can't see what's going on. Obama squandered nearly $2 Trillion dollars with his "Stimulus Package" and the bailouts. Meanwhile the American Worker is still unemployed and expected to pay for the debt he's created. Now this Health Care Reform fiasco. How much as he spent trying to shove that down our throats?
Someone should explain to these kids they they and their kids will be paying this debt long after Obama is dead and gone.
I saw this on TV this afternoon. Okay, I saw it on The O'Reilly Factor, but it is a recording, not womebody presenting an opinion.
I was reminded of how the children in China used to have to chant the praises of Mao and those in the USSR used to have to chant the praises of Stalin. :eek: I wonder if Obama knows what this makes him look like, or if his supporters know or if those teachers know. :confused:
I'd like to take a stab at answering that one...if I may.
AH & the entire western world, it seems, is populated by waning old hippies who have had the dreams of a far left Obama like scenario in mind for years. It is finally here and they know it is but for a short, short time as 2010 will ring in with a sour note following the fall elections.
This is there one shot, for life, for posterity, the glory hole for the left.
They are the true believers in environmental and human harmony, peace, love & drugs for all at the table.
In the sixties it was the coming ice age, man's fault of course and all the oil would be sucked out of the ground by 1975 and the atmosphere would be so polluted...well...watch it in any old post apocalyptic movie you choose from Escape from New York to...ah, BladeRunner...all I could think of was Electric Androids(for you sci fi buffs). They predicted all that and more, with the same certainty they now speak of Global Warming and Alternative energy.
Their emotional lives were sacrificed to free love and then abortion and a hundred lovers a year, one every three days; they are drugged up, burned out, diseased and hopeless as their is no salvation for their souls.
To see at least some of their far left dreams realized is all they have left in life. It ain't much and it won't last, but they will die happy. (Well, not really) Happiness is a value they long ago forsook.
Not a pretty picture, eh?
Tell it like it is Ami, the truth is always the best course.
So, just so we're clear on this, we've reached a point in history where FOX News gets worked up when a single misguided elementary teacher employed by an independent school district has some kids sing a song?
Don't get me wrong, she deserves disciplining. People in her district or her students parents have right to be annoyed. But this is not national news. Barely regional news.
I seriously can't watch TV news anymore. FOX started it, but the rest have gone to hell. Aside form reading stuff on the AP/Reuters and getting a laugh from Comedy Central, it just isn't worth paying attention to anymore.
JamesSD, I noticed also that CNN at least, has begun to question the ethics and morals implicit in the Obama administration and the social network that supports him.
You are also most likely aware of an animated video seen in more than 7,000 public schools in the US, a Marxist interpretation of economics and a comparison of, 'Tanks in the Cities', propaganda that has been spread throughout the public school system.
I do find it strange, at this late date, that the press is finally addressing the obvious and blantant socialist agenda of Obama and his co-conspirators.
About damned time!
Meh. There can be only one Obama hymn. :cool:
That was hilarious; did someone throw up at the end?
Glad you popped up....sighs, if I still have the copy on my notebook:
Crude output from Norway, the world’s fifth-biggest oil exporter, peaked between 2000 and 2001 and may fall 9.7 percent this year, according to the Petroleum Directorate. Norway gets almost a 25 percent of its economic output from oil and gas, which has made it the world’s second-richest nation and financed its cradle-to-grave welfare system.
That is a copy from about midway through an article on Trysail's Thread, $150 a barrel oil, Post #558, if my notes are correct.
So your government has nationalized the oil industry like Venezuela? Does that not go against much of what you claim about Norway being a Capitalist nation, as the definition of capitalism rests on the private ownership of land and resources?
"Cradle to Grave" does not equate to a free society, either?
We could do that 'Cradle to Grave'/ oil sale thing too if the Greenies and our lily-livered Congress would let us drill for oil anywhere...but noooooo...another lost opportunity to create the Worker's Paradise. :D
California and Alaska, as States, already penalize the oil industry with confiscatory taxes that seem to all go towards the pet projects of the environmentalists to save the animals....I guess their philosophy is, 'to hell with people, save the whales!',,,
Such a deal...
The problem is that there are too many people and not enough whales...so what we need to do is grind up a whole bunch of people and feed them to the whales...the whales will be well fed and breed more frequently...there'll be more baby whales and less people to bother them...Viola!...two problems solved.
Now, about those wolves...:rolleyes:
Heh, another, Soylent Green or "A Modest Proposal"?
Although Malthus and his theory of growth outstripping the ability to provide sustenance for humans, has been shown to be totally wrong, but destructive, there are still those who advocate a zero population growth for humanity.
I view that as an innate hatred of humanity, a dislike of the works of man and a muted desire to return to more pastoral, pre industrial times, by the latest 'peace and love' generation.
All my children, educated in public schools were indoctrinated with the environmental dogma and they are dismayed that anyone, daddy especially, would even question the faith of the Left. As they grow in years, they are beginning, at last, to ask some pertinent questions.
Perhaps there is hope that reason will return...?
I've said it before: THE LEFT FUCKS UP BECAUSE IT ONLY SPENDS OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY, NEVER ITS OWN. And sooner or later it exhausts the Golden Goose and eats it. Think of the Usual Suspects as locusts.
Huh, I guess I should remind you that we've just come out of 8 years of lagging economic and job growth, out of control spending and ballooning deficits, all ending in a huge real estate bubble that the republican administration not only ignored, but actively encouraged - I dunno, maybe you missed it, easy to understand if you were watching Fox, they never report on stuff like that.
Talk about being fucking mesmerized.
1. I don't live in Norway.
2. Norway's oil industry is not nationalized. It was started by the government, but has since then been privatized. The government still own big shares though, because it generates a good cashflow. But you can buy your very own shares in for instance StatoilHydro ASA at the New York Stock Exchange.
3. A goverment providing "Cradle to Grave" is not mutually exclusive to a free society. It's only non-free if it's mandatory. And of course, depending on how the goverment can afford it. If they need excessive taxes to do it, that's a minus. Do they? Dunno. That's as far as my knowledge of Norway goes.
That money, specifically the TALF, sorta saved the banking system and economies of the Western World. If those trillions weren't spent, your children would never go to college, own a house, have a credit card, use an ATM. It's pretty clear right now that what the FED did stopped a second depression. If inflation is dealt with on the way out then Bush/Obama will have been right. Really, Bush already spent trillions to save the economy before Obama was in office, so it's misleading saying Obama squandered when it was a joint effort.
Healthcare--it's embarrassing that every citizen isn't covered, you should be embarrassed that the greatest wealth creator in history can't get its citizens healthcare when Estonia and Rumania can.
LaRocha, I see you have stepped right in and joined up already; pity.
The damage is done so there is very little purpose to moaning water already under the bridge, but...
You may or may not be aware of the regulation of the finance industry by government regulatory agencies. Regulated to prevent such an event as occured last year.
Why, then, did it happen?
Because only Government can operate outside the law and did, with both Fannie and Freddie being forced to implement social policies to grant mortgages to normally unqualified buyers.
With Uncle Sam guaranteeing the loans, domestic and foreign banking entities cashed in and profited big time for years.
Private banking facilities would never had made the toxic loans approved by corrupt government officials.
Once upon a time there used to be a substantial difference between Republican and Democrat ideology; that difference has narrowed over the years as long term Senators and Representatives have put in place a Bureaucracy that is beyond the reach of any mortal Congress Critter.
I would have preferred the financial institutions that committed this fraud be allowed to declare bankruptcy and purge the entire system, which will have to be done sooner or later. Those trillions thus far are just a bandage as the Commercial Real Estate market is also on the verge of collapse.
Over a longer period of time I suggest the cure would have been more effective than this continued gradual drain on the economy that shows no sighns of recovering.
Your Grand promotion of nationalizing the health industry is all fluff and the socialized systems around the world are delivering poor and poorer service with longer and longer waiting lines and terrible miscarriages of justice in many cases where patients die without ever getting treatment.
Add to that, you effectively conscript, draft, all the doctors and other medical personnel into government service and force them to perform with compensation set by committee and treatment measured out on a cost/benefit basis which is inhumane at the best.
It is flowery rhetoric to repeat again and again that the US could well afford socialized medicine and it may surprise you that we have chosen to be free instead. I can only hope it continues thus.
Let me help you out with an analogy of the real situation.
Your employer goes to Las Vegas and loses his ass and every dime in his pockets. He then calls you demanding that you mortgage your house and send him the money or your job is finito. Your wife sez I DONT KNOW! but you mortgage the house and wire the money. When the boss returns to town he sells the company to CHINA Inc. and your job goes to Shanghai.
Interesting, if twisted, and from the Huffington Post, about as far left and anti-Bush as one can get.
FEMA had help lined up all over the area before Katrina even struck. A fair assessment of what actually happened indicates that the local political figures in Louisiana did not properly prepare for a worst case scenario of the levee's being breached.
In addition, there was sufficient warning that all residents from New Orleans could have been evacuated, but many chose not to leave, and the Mayor was simply unqualified to lead the city.
While it may be status quo wherever you live to 'indoctrinate' children in the public school system, it is not standard procedure here and people do not appreciate it in the least.
A lot of this crap, against smoking, against fast food, changing menu's in schools to meet vegetarian dietary goals, also goes against the grain of many if not most American parents with children in the pubic school system.
I suppose this is another of your posts to be misunderstood that you take sides in American political issues and always the same side.
But, no, you are impartial, yeah, sure...
Meh. If you can cite FOX, I can cite Huff. They're both equally partisan yahoos.
Where'd you get that idea? If we're to talk about US politics, my opinion is clear. I'm in favor of a center-right fiscal policy and a center-left social one. I've said so numerous times. But mostly I side with sanity and pragmatism. That goes for America as well as Europe and pretty much elsewhere.
But right now you have two main political camps in the US. One that is center-left and one that is batshit insane. They need to get their shit together, start thinking constructively and purge out the bible thumpers and the tin foil hatters before they deserve to be endorsed by anyone.
That's not why I posted this, not because I'm a huge Obama fan, or the Ebil Communist you want to paint me as being. I'm just amused by the straw grasping of your right wing. You're the ones on constant attack mode, bum rushing the discourse with cheap and desperate politics, from death panels to birth certificates to "indoctrination of children" nonsens (the poutrage over this incident as well as the right wing hysteria surrounding Obama's school speech).
How can you compare this:
Our country's stood beside us
People have sent us aid.
Katrina could not stop us,
our hopes will never fade.
Congress, Bush and FEMA
People across our land
Together have come to rebuild us
and we join them hand-in-hand!
to the hosannas being sung about Obama? :confused: This wasn't even about Bush, although he was mentioned in passing. It was about the people coming to the aid of the Gulf Coast after Katrina. :eek:
I'm not. I'm saying you guys are hysteric.
Actually, they ARE comparable, in the sense that both incidents are nothing. At the most silly where they happen, regrettable where they happen, and indicative of nothing. Absolutly nothing at all other than that someone made a dumb call. There are 307 million people in your country. The odds that someone does something dumb at any given moment is 1 to 1.
But you shit your pants in fear and outrage at the slightest little noise, and run around squealing about the falling sky and the Grand Communist Conspiracy. Over nothing. And I laugh my ass off.
That be all.
Keep on imploding. Maybe a real, constructive opposition will one day rise out of the ashes of your silly antics. We'll see.
