No, that's not weird. I do the same thing. I rarely go back and reread my stories, but while writing them, I'm usually aroused. I do try to resist masturbating to orgasm, though, because once I do, I usually lose a lot of inspiration for writing. I end up drawing it out as long as I can to take advantage of the increased passion, but usually, whenever I am ready to stop writing for the day, I let myself finish.

When I am writing, I do get aroused. I think you pretty much have to. If you aren't getting aroused by the erotica you are creating, I'm not sure how you expect others to feel.

I try to do sex scenes while turned on, and then after I cum, if there are any less erotic scenes I can work on, I do those. Stuff like progressing the plot or scenery descriptions; things where I feel inspiration and passion are less necessary.
