Thanks SexyGirl. I'm the one who has a terrible time with g'byes (I don't even like spelling it out!). Found myself sniffling several times the day before he was leaving, but Oman managed to keep reminding me to try NOT to use our actual moments together for this, and instead try to just keep myself focused and in the moment.

Spent my first "alone" night talking with friends which kept my sense of lonliness to a minimum. Getting up this morning, however, I realize this will be an ongoing battle for me!

Yes, I have "fallen" hard, and although there'll be tough times ahead, I wouldn't have it any other way!

I'm smiling for the first time today at your warm words and wishes!

It is amazing how all the emotions are heightened!! For the first time in my life, I am truly part of an "us", and it might take a while to realize I'm not going through this alone!

All this is happening at a time when I thought I'd already be settled and relaxed, only to find that I not only need to begin from scratch on the work front (not too many offers for a 49 year old "out there" in the business world!), but starting fresh on my emotional level as well!
