Jemand Ungarisch Sprechen?
Ich habe eine frage, aber entschuldigen Sie mich für Englisch sprechen, ich bin Amerikaner...

It might seem silly but I'm a fan of gypsy music and there has been a particular song I've tried to track down for some 15 years. The song is featured in an movie produced by HBO in 1996 entitled Rasputin: Dark Servant of Destiny. Despite the russian subject matter the film was shot in Hungary. The song in question seems to be performed by a live band that was presumably recruited from around the area, and seeing that the vocals sound nothing like russian or any other language I have heard, I was wondering if a magyar speaker would mind giving them a listen and tell me if the lyrics sound hungarian, or even perhaps romani? Here's the clip from the movie with the song in question, the lyrics are easiest understood at 06:18. Thanks again for any charity in giving my post a read.

personally i think it sounds more like hungarian but i could be completely wrong... but maybe you should also try the "other languages" forum, as chances are higher to come across a hungarian speaker there, i think...
