I missed seeing this until this evening. I have loved and bought his music since around 1990 and will miss his huge contribution to music and this thing we call life. So sad also for his wife, and his children to lose him so young. Once again when one of our talented musicians/artists pass, the world is robbed of a unique talent and beauty.:rose:

I saw him two years ago in concert, sort of by accident. He was a great performer and I was saddened to hear about his passing as well.

Aw wow

Jeff Healey was awesome. He'll be missed, but he left us a great gift.

Malin and I were so sad to read about this.

The first slow dance we had together was to "Angel Eyes". He requested it because that's how he felt about me loving him. The song stuck with us and was the song we danced to at our wedding.

I loved his strength, his fight and his music.

And then to hear on the news this morning about Patrick Swayze, who played along side Jeff in Road House; shocked me big time.

Yes, I also saw the reports about Patrick Swayze yesterday and was saddened. There does seem to be some conflict in the reports with some saying it is an aggressive form with little hope and others saying his doctors have said there is plenty to hope for with a good recovery and that so far he is responding well to treatment. Let's hope the latter is the correct version of the story.:rose:

From what i understand, if caught within a few months of starting; pancreatic cancer can be cut out of the pancreas with a procedure called a "Whipple Surgery".

But if diagnosed later than that, the tumor is too close to a main artery that runs through the pancreas, and therefore cannot be cut out; leaving it as one of the most deadliest forms of cancer.
