He's just feeding you a line. He has no desire to truly commit. He just wants to have his cake and eat it too. I really think he's using you and I'm sure you could do so much better than a guy that doesn't want a 'girlfriend' but sure wants that tail when he's horny.

we're already together. it took a while and some struggle from both parts and so far so good, things are running smoothly. I can only hope it continues this way. but thanks for the advice anyway.

We've talked about the whole "not being officially" together thing several times now, according to him, the whole girlfriend/boyfriend thing is just a title that doesn't really count for much. he claims that he wants to be with me and only with me but he's not ready for such title. a big contradiction and a really stupid argument, yes.

Sounds to me like this isn't good enough for you. He wants the best of both worlds. And who can blame him? You are allowing it.

Don't agree to something that isn't fair to you. If this flimsy relationship works for you the great. But I don't think that is really the case.

Always ALWAYS listen to yourself. you KNOW when something isn't right. don't dismiss those thoughts, feelings... CALL people on these things that feel weird. talk talk talk about it.
Be careful with yourself. We are all worth much more than we perceive. It's just human nature, for some cruel reason.
Give yourself advice as if your best friend in the world had the same problem. what would you tell her, knowing all about the ins & outs of the relationship that only you do. we can only guess...
