My most frequent contributions in the last week? A religion thread and an abortion rights thread.

No fun, no frills, no merry happiness. No mindless flirting. None of the half-assed jokes I've tried to make have worked, including one tonight that I thought was a real pisser! Even my attempt to induce VanB in some naughty anal sex was rebuffed. Hell...what's a man to do??

I used to be Mr Happy Laughter Man who only occasionally dropped in on the serioous threads. Now, I can't escape them.

As for me, well, hmmph. A mid-term Monday, one tonight, one more on Wednesday. Two deadlines at work that shrank, for no apparent reason, from two weeks to two days. The audition for specialty songs in my chorus' June show (solos or small groups that get their very own chane in the spotlight) I just found out Tuesday is about three weeks or so away and I really want to sing a number but have no idea where I'm going to find the rehearsal time.

I'm feeling harried, hassled, tired, and most definitely lonesome.

But that's still no excuse for my being so damned somber. Well, maybe in a couple days I'll be myself? I dunno...

Going back to school is still a "new" thing that you added into your routine, and routines do take a while to level out.

It's just one of those times when I looked at my works of the week and thought "What a boring old bastard *that* guy is!".

I'll be getting into my fun soon enough, I'm sure. It's just been really busy with a lot of brain-intensive stuff. It still doesn't explain why my thread posting has been on brain-intensive stuff, too. Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment.

Oh..took the Psych mid-term last night. I'm pretty damned sure that I aced it.
