there are only a very few stories exploring the sensuous nature of jazz. Specificly, I have in mind a stiory focused on the stimulting visuals, and the word play as fingers caress keys, lips mpouth reeeds, strings get plucked, (drum) skins brushed.
but I want to read it, not write it. Sigh.

This puts me in the mind of the Dinah Washington song Big Long Sliding Thing, which is ostensibly about a trombone player.

I am not sure I follow what you want Sirhugs I have read this thread like three times with hope it would open up a little so I could grasp what you are looking for.

I am thinking you are looking for a metaphorically done story? Nah, are you looking for a story that is based around Jazz? Or maybe a story that has a jazz band playing to a cadence beat and the couple have sex to it?

I always trust the authour's imagination. Any of your ideas has potential. I think they illustrate the fertile ground of the idea.

I think I can actually incorporate some of this Jazz in to a story that I have been sitting on a while it may just give it the spice it needed.

First I need to finish the incest story with the writing and spying theme hiting my fourth Lit page aproaching fith.

Then I think I might just play this note in to that story and see if it perks my intrest once more. The story is based in Jamaica at Hedonism It is early evening by the beach and the nude beach at that. Wine and crackers on a blanket watching the sun set.

Often times they have people playing brass as they walk/meander around the resort. They stop and serenade in a form of music to couples and groups. Playing scads of different types of music. Naturally they stop longer for the pretty females barely dressed.

This may not be what you intended but it gives me a great finish to an old story.

I love note pad so easy to keep ideas on.
