jazz from hell by rnabokov

This is, in my opinion, an excellent poem! It opened these inexperienced eye's to how other people's mornings can be so drastically different than mine. I wake up every morning in a tiny southern town to a husband and little ones, and not to jazz from hell.
Here's a peek at his morning:
"I can barely see for tears as the blinds serrate the smoky air
to furrows of light and dark,
and fugitive shadows slither away to refuge
under furniture or cracks in walls ... "
