I'm not sure how much of this is actually accurate, but Japan has a long history of treating anyone who isn't Japanese through and through as an outsider. Even their writing system is segregated, for fuck's sake. So if all these are true, ask yourself who else has restrictions like these, because I guarantee that the restrictions that are true for Muslims are true for just about all foreigners.
