The Fuzzy Wuzzy shuddered, it's equivalent of a yawn, as it opened up its two blue eyes.
Technically, it wasn't a fuzzy wuzzy. What it was, though, was unpronounceable in any of the languages spoken by the beings it was observing, so fuzzy wuzzy would have to do.
It was more furry than fuzzy. It appeared to be furry purple sphere about five feet in diameter, with two large blue eyes centered on the top half of the sphere, that stayed pretty much level and the same distance to each other, no matter how the fuzzy wuzzy moved.
How the fuzzy wuzzy moved was another interesting phenomenon. It appeared to float above whatever surface it was above, and moved through the air with no visible means of propulsion.
The fuzzy wuzzy could produce any number of tentacles of any length or width from its body, with whatever it needed at the tip of the tentacles, whether it be eyes, mouths, or whatever. Otherwise, it looked like a giant, furry ball with big blue eyes hover over the floor, watching whatever was in front of him.
Right now it was watching humans. And were they fascinating!
The humans had developed some kind of energy field for some unknown purpose, but it let the fuzzy wuzzy have a very definite purpose. It opened up a door to where the fuzzy wuzzy lived. The fuzzy wuzzy slipped through the door and, while hidden in the energy field, watched the various humans come and go. They were all so very interesting. Especially the young female human.
Truth be told, the fuzzy wuzzy wished it could observe the humans closer (especially the young female human), but it couldn't leave the energy field, and none of the humans were inclined to enter the energy field.
So, for now at least, the fuzzy wuzzy had to be content with watching.
