The fact is they have more than enough on multiple issues to indict, successfully prosecute, and incarcerate Donald Trump without engaging a special prosecutor at all. We are well into the Donald Trump is being held above the law territory. Kicking the football into someone else's lap is just farting around at this point. The argument that they didn't want to be taken as political was immediately scotched by the Trumpers condemning it as political, which is obviously what they were going to do. There are several cases against him that are slam dunk. His uglies are going to be ugly about it no matter how he's brought to account.

Just do it.
