I read them. What's your comment on these stories? You're killing us with suspense. :)

They impress me as excellent examples of how to depict despair. Of course, despair was London's stock in trade. I cant name one of his stories that arent moribund.
 
I used to love White Fang as a kid. Must have read it a dozen times. Of course, I thought it was just an animal book, like Bambi. It's odd that I've forgotten, but I think it had a happy ending. His usual obsessions are recognizable, though, the same ones found in these two stories; the wolf from the White Fang spent time as a ring fighter too; the harshness of life in the North, etc.
