I've lost a post!

All I did was say good morning on the "Have I become the Leader..." thread, submitted it and it disappeared.

Although I didn't have it for very long we had become quite attached to each other in the few seconds of our relationship.

If anyone sees my lost post on the Boards would you please let me know where it is to put my mind at rest..

I can't understand it, none of my posts have wandered off before.

I've always considered myself to be a good parent to them.

Where have I gone wrong!...

I believe I have to wait 24 hours before I can officially report it missing.

Trouble is we didn't know each other long enough to take any pics for the family album so I've got nothing to show people what it looks like.

It breaks my heart, it really does, to know it's out there, somewhere, all alone, lost, bewildered...

No...

...but I met a friend yesterday who is also a Lit person and he said the same thing happened to him. But he told me that he scrolled down in the address window at the top of the screen and found the thread name he had posted to and there his post was!

I'm not sure exactly what he meant because when I scroll my address window I just get other sites I've visited not threads within Lit so I may have misunderstood him. I'm seeing him again later and I'll ask him what he meant.

Meanwhile I have stretched my net far and wide and have received many encouraging sightings.

I would like to thank all those who sent encouraging e-mails and IMs. I have been told by the authoriites that it is still too early to carry out a full scale post hunt but they assure me they have issued an apb (all posts bulletin).

I haven't given up hope...
