After writing the first part of my story "Pop goes the weasel" and sending it to two women whom I respect alot, Cloudy and VampLawyer, they both told me, after I had said that 'this was it', that I would be bitten by the writing bug and wouldn't be able to get rid of it.

Well I'm ashamed to say they were right. After finishing Chapter 2 of my story last night I went to bed and couldn't sleep. This morning I got up and simply had to write what was bugging me. One hours later I had a 1200 words essay in front of me

I sure hope it will stop soon. Honestly I don't like losing sleep because my mind is buzzing around with things that needs to be out.

Feel free to cough on me, just in case it's contagious.

Yep you did..now I don't know if I should want to kick you or kiss you ;)

In all seriousness, my writing is a form of therapy for me.

Mad at someone? Kill them off in a gruesome manor.

Sad? Write something that makes you cry so you can get over it.

And so on.

(I should be finished with your story either tonight, or first thing tomorrow)

calamine lotion.

don't pick at it or it will never get better.

Yep, that's something I can relate to.
Question is, will it ever be painfree? :(

No....you have to feel it to be able to write it effectively. I do, however, think that your choice of subject for your first foray into the ring was a little hard on you. That part will be easier. ;)

Well put it to work!
They take dictation ya know.

Hmm not sure they'd agree with my use of them, I don't want their union rep on my back LOL.

One author (forgotten who) once described her writing as "the feeling of blood gushing out of an open wound".

OMG....and today I described it to my husband as puking but not feeling as good as when I'm done puking.

Cough on me too, LadyC.

I have to drag every word kicking and screaming into the light these days.

Congrats, by the way.

Nahhh RG, you don't need me to contaminate you. You're a damn fine writer as you are. If only you and a few others could bottle how good you are, I'd buy it.

Sorry Imp, I didn't mean to ignore you and not acknowledge what you said.
I respect your work and you as a person too much to ignore you.

In my case I hope it'll wane soon. Good it's painful!!!

Definitely Freudian.
Hope the pain never goes away, it's fun!
