On the local news (I live close to Memphis), they did some quick blurbs and one was with Ryan Seacrest. He commented at the amount of golden tickets compared to Seattle (apparently, there were a lot more.)

The one that didn't make sense to me was the girl right near the end, she was Okalhoma, and Simon and Randy said she sang through her nose. I dunno, I think she was better than most of the ones that they let through....

I know...didn't make any sense to me at all...and she had a good voice...were they worried about another country style singer? That's all I could come up with...
