I tried sending BG a link to a literotica post in IMs on facebook.

You can't post that because it is a blocked link.

I bet Google + would allow us to.

Fuck you, Zuckerberg.

I just am tired of the daily e-mail do you know Shelia Rodsworth Greensburg Lang or something like that. I don't even go on it anymore. If I wanted to know this chick I would have friended her a year ago. I DO NOT KNOW HER!

i just clicked "like" on the Lit page but then i had to unlike because indie pointed out that that shows up on my page and i don't really want my boss to know about my love of porn.

i will create a new FB just to Like all my porn.

No shit. Or the girls from long ago that somehow still remember your name.

"Remember me? You were the first man to fuck me in the ass."

Remember me? You were the first man to eat my pussy."

It's like I'm a race car driver or something.

Almost choked on my diet pepsi! LOL :D

Despite facebook's huge user-base I still find the best trannies on craigslist.

Not exactly the reason I don't use it but close. I have no interest in people from my past finding me. If I wanted to talk to them I would have done it before now. I don't care what they're doing, I don't give a flying rat fuck about their kids or their cat and I certainly don't give a shit about their "status." Fuck you. That's my status motherfucker. Holy fuck why do people think everyone cares what they're doing? Nobody gives a shit. Deal with it.

Exactly right.

Or for the other reason, which most of my work colleagues (twats) seem use it for. Sitting only 2 or 3 desks away for eight hours a day isn't enough. They have to go home and log in and put what a stressful day they've had at work or some bollocks. Facebook has caused more rows, verbal and written warnings and breaches of confidence in my workplace than a little.

You talk funny.

I disagree. IF people I know [and the people they know] want to share details about their exceptional children, brag about the two week resort vacation, or describe a weird growth on their genitals I want to know. That's called being a good friend.

The world is ultimately a lonely place. Facebook - and other social media tools - help us maintain relationships that we otherwise would need to go out of our way to continue. With these tools I no longer need to procatively see people, show up at their parties, or answer their phone calls/messages. And yet I still REALLY DO CARE about them.

This is funny (and true) on many levels.

I think that is really the companies fault for not putting down the law on just what being at work actually entails. Workers should nt be spending paid work time working and not on social media, forums, personal phone calls or whatever. The concept of prouctivity has not occured to them?

It amazes me how many people posting on line during during the day who seem to be logging in from work.

Exactly. Therein lies the value. I have a son who lives a couple of hundred of milses away and a daughter and son-in-law who live in Singapore. :)confused:) Social media are probably the best antidote for mobility.

I also enjoy contact with people in far flung places. The world really is a diverse place and social media allow you to tune in at minimal expense.

There's not always enough work to fill the work day. Its going to get worse as things get more automated. Some jobs simply don't have enough work to fill 40 hours a week but the business needs the skills of the particular employee when they do need them so they keep them on staff. Not all jobs are like the old days producing 1500 widgets an hour per worker.

I hate facebook.

I haven't looked at my account in over a year.

Fuck all those dipshits from grade school and high school.

Talked to an younger electrical engineer this year on a vacation. The fear I expressed for my kids was this. If you take this automation to the n th degree then all of us will have a store and a robot. My robot will shop at your store and yours will shop at mine. We will all starve! His reply. "We're closer than you think."
I forgot to ask if he planned to have kids.

Here I truly see the value of Facebook but you can get the same communication via email or Skype.
