Snow in October
Well I guess I have to laugh
Cause it's fricken cold
and I'm too old
and I might fall on my ass!

It's not supposed to snow until late November at the earliest here in New Jersey, and yet here we are with it coming down mixed with rain here in October. Funny :D

Trade with you! It's hot (80 degrees). It's dry. It's hot (90 degrees). It's dry. That's the been the whole of October. With fires.

I'd kill for rain...and pay extra for snow...save that it would probably hurt some crops that we rely on like oranges. Still....ah, for some wet weather....

Hey, I've got NO sympathy left over for you bub!

It’s supposed to get down to 60F here tonight and we are only going to have a high of 81F!

If this keeps up, I'm going to have to get out my thermal bikini! If it gets any worse, we might even need to close the windows at night, for gawd sake!

Sacrilege! You snow hussy you! Why don’t you go back where you came from – some place like Minnesota or wherever! You... you... CANADIAN!

:D

I know people who were out in Vegas this weekend. I bet they are sure glad to be home away from the warm dry weather ;)

Oh, yeah! Well maybe I just will! Maybe I'll go to someplace like Calgary or something where it's only 50 degrees during the day and 20 at night! Where a person can wear a stylish winter coat and one of those innumerable sweaters the Gap keeps selling. Where early Xmas decorations from Pottery Barn make sense. Where I can have a Starbuck's signature hot chocolate HOT instead of over ice! Where I don't have to wear my summer shorts and Birkenstocks and, instead, put on trousers and a pair of those damn riding boots everyone is selling because I'm some place where it's finally cold enough to actually wear 'em!

Yeah. Canada. Maybe I'll even go this very week. Ha!

I've lived in places where it snowed in June. *Shrugs*
A couple of years ago,I had to cancel a hike about twenty m iles due west of Las Vagas because of snow!

I'm just worried that this snow in northeast is going to extend the last three inning so f the world series until spring. :p It's bad enoughtheRay were making a comeback whenthe game was suspended and there was goin to be another baseball game wedneday. :(

Not in Phoenix, it's not!! 80+ degrees here, and going to get hotter.

Ridiculous temperatures, even for her, in October.

It's over. It switched back into rain. I prefer cold precipitation to be snow over rain any day of the week. :(

Fine! Go ahead and see if I care! Just don't come crying to me when those boots make your legs look too short, when you need to wear your "stylish winter coat" in July or when a flock of Canadian geese (who incidentally DO have sense enough to leave the cold behind) poop on one of those Gap sweaters!

P.S. 50 degrees during the day and 20 at night is only in August and you don't drink coffee over ice there; it turns into ice all by itself! Hmmph!

Rain predicted for Sunday. I'll be out dancing around with a rattlesnake in my teeth just to make sure. the canned kind, of course! ;)

HEATHEN! (I could care less about the rattlesnake; it’s the evil “R” word you used!)

Hehe. I lived in New Jersey for a few years and the one winter we got two inches of snow the whole damn state was shut down for two days! I laughed my ass off!

On a Minnesota note, we got a rain/ice storm two days ago. Not a lot of precip but enough to make the roads slick that am.

Time to break out the winter coats! :D

Oh hush. Just send Amy and the girls out to play in the year's first rain until they're cold and wet and then send them into a hot shower. Fun for the 'kids' and peace and quiet for you. What's the downside of that?

Really? I don't know when that was, as I have seen quite a bit of snow fall and things still keep running. Albeit a little slowly, but they still keep going.

Awww poor baby! It's cold here in southern Pa too! And windy But just think...cold weather...warm fires....soft lighting...cuddling....and if you fall and go to the hospital...well there are so many beautiful, caring, nurses.

Think of it as a glass half full not half empty!

Snowing here too, (north of London). Been snowing for two hours, looks like Christmas :D

It's been raining here for days, with no end in sight. I'm starting construction on an ark tomorrow.

Currently 57F here. Supposed to get down to 43F tonight.

Gonna get back up to the upper 70's and low 80's by the end of the week.

Got the heat on and a sweatshirt.

Last Monday is snowed about an hour east of here. Damned cold.
This Monday the thermometer ran out of puff at 99.

Screwy weather indeed!
