im stuck at home alone

i recently moved back to cardiff after university living in london

i have my mates who live here, but i feel left out after the 3 year break. they all have girlfriends or partners and i feel as though i am always tagging along with everones plans. i havent had a phone call for 4 weeks. i am always making the effort and have a phone bill to match.

this goes back to the loyalty thread. i am 110% loyal till the end and always get hurt because i expect too much of people

i know people need their lives and need space but 4 weeks of it is a piss take (i hope this isnt coming across as a coming of age rant)

my mother has sugesste di take up some adult evening classes to make some new friends.

i feel too young for this option at 23, and i should have the loyal friends around me.

any sugesstions out there for getting a life and making my mark on society

it will be much appreciated after feeling crap on the subject for a good few weeks

No suggestions, but if you find any good answers, let me know if they will work for a 45 year old getting divorced. I have plenty of friends here, but none locally.

i went on my own

it was a good experience and i' learnt alot about myself.

but company is a valuable thing.

drinking alone is ok to an extent but we need company. we are human after all.
