The pup just brought in a deer leg. At least they butchered it, so it's in someone's freezer, and not rotting in the woods.

There were people on our property spotlighting last night. *grumble grumble bitch bitch*
thanks for sharing
you're welcome.
I knew you were just itchin to know that.
My neighbor is prone to meeting them with a shotgun asking what they're doing on his property.
Feisty feller, that one.
So am I. Everybody wants to sell to the coal company and then hunt on my land. You don't get both, motherfuckers. My land, my critters. Omnomnom.
It was only last week that I saw warnings of a Fish & Game cull posted.
Mine were all legal...I just went to a spot with an early season
You're my neighbor, aren't you?
lol, sounds just like something he would say.

Last day of moose season at the cabin is tomorrow.
did you get one?
Maybe. Where you at?
That seriously does piss me off. I don't care for my family hunting on my land, and I try to call around when I hear gunshots being like, "Are you hunting right now? Are you hunting right now?" but phones don't work up here, so you wind up calling people's houses and being like, "Your kid hunting right now?" "You know if Wayne's home?" "Y'hall wanna come help me run off some poachers?"
People want the fucking money from the mines, but then want to still get the meat from the untouched land. Either keep your fucking land or use your goddamn money to buy some fucking meat.
I doubt we're neighbors, but we do share that attitude about our land. i don't mind if they have the courtesy to ask first, but assuming it's okay because there are trees everywhere and nobody will care, just irks me. I think it's an Appalachian thing.
I think it's an Appalachian thing.
My land is posted "No Hunting" because I don't want yahoos crawling all over it and messing with my shit. I border several thousands of acres of public land, and what they do there is their own biz, provided it's legal.
In-breeding has dumbed-down the Appalachian population to the point where mongrel dogs hold most of their municipal offices.
