my dog is not very photogenic. seriously. she hates cameras and she's super black. i also have a shitty camera. consequently, 99% of my pictures of her look like indistinct, black blobs.

we actually aren't 100% sure, but my (least) favorite theory is she got hit in the eye with a flying toy. she used to try to catch toys she had no business trying to catch.

the eye is still there (thankfully), but the lens on her left eye is white and she's clearly blind on that side.

this is why we switched to unstuffed plushie toys for her. thankfully , she loves those, so that's good, at least. if only the squeakers didn't hate the washing machine so much.
