CBS 48 Hours tonight profiled a website from Florida where the couple running it got busted for distributing pornography, dropped charges and reinstated them. Talk about trampling the Bill of Rights. Anyone know what the website is?

PS Polk County and any other LEOs reading this...when you come for my guns, I'll give you my bullets!

I didn't see the story, but it may be the one about a girl named Becca, who was busted by FL for porn charges. A bunch or associated websites were trying to drum up a defense fund for her. She laid low for a while and moved out of state, then started back up with Dreamnet. I believe she can still be found at www.dreamnet.com, look in the thumbnail list for Becca (busty blonde).

From what I remember of the evidence against her it was akin to a witchhunt, they knew what they wanted to charge her with and to hell with evidence to the contrary.

I hope this is what you were seeking.

I have seen many "news shows" and talk shows on the subject of amature (or personal) web sites. One was where a man lost HIS job because his wife had a pay porn web site of herself. (The husband was not a part of any of the pics.) And there was one (where sometimes the couple was in the pics together, but it was mostly the wife in sexy clothes (Yes, CLOTHES!) and lingerie), and the couple got arrested and the police confiscated all the clothes. So much for constitutional rights!

I suppose what it all comes down to is that most people are shocked to find out the host of their favorite porn site is the "girl next door", or the teacher, doctor, postal carrier, etc. When will people grow up?! ~sigh~

Sadly, Tiggs, most of them never will. That's why our legislators have such a free hand in creating hundreds or thousands of new laws every term that define more and more political crimes.

And the degradation and deterioration of a society and the loss of freedoms is defined by the presence and proliferation of political crimes, e. g., drug use, sale and possession, prostitution, gambling, FCC regulations, EPA regulations, etc.

These people can seem to get over the embarrassing fact that they were born naked and most of them were born in bed with a naked (or partially so) woman.
