If your kids are in sports, keep them hydrated.

If you have elderly or disabled neighbors, check on them and see that they have adequate water and air circulation.

If you have pets, make sure they have plenty of water. Bring them inside for a break from the heat if you can.

Even the wild things may need a little help. Keep containers of water on decks or balconies for the birds.

And for the love of pete, don't leave your kids and/or pets in the car. They will be dead in minutes in this heat.

I keep a fan on the front of the horse's stall.

The dogs are all inside and give me that "seriously...no..SERIOUSLY?" look when i open the door for them to go out to pee.

I seem to be living in a zoo.

I think she put a pic of her "puppies" in the downblouse thread:D

puppy goes outside, sniffs, turns around and wants back in. He then gives me a look like 'What did you guys do to the outside?'

My son has taken to sleeping in the basement theatre room claiming his bedroom is too hot. Um, central air is on so methinks its an excuse to sleep in the theatre room *nods*

Iman's Zoe looks like my sis's dog Sadie. She's a boat ridin, jumpin in the lake, fool.

LOL Sis makes her wear a doggie life jacket, just so she's safe.

My neighbor has one something like that...cross between a poodle and a newf or Lab or some damned thing...its fucking nuts, I can't stand it...hops around like a lunatic and the way it listens you would think its deaf

The entertainment value in a JRT is immeasurable.

He has a serious side too
apparently our yard is a "no fly zone" whether it be birds, bees or planes

and every grocery, backpack that passes through the front door
MUST be inspected ... thoroughly and groceries twice ... just in case

and now in weather news

its currently 29°C/84°F
with a humidex reading of 36°C/97°F
