It's Hard Out There For A Hero These Days, It Seems

It will be many years before any of the things he complains about change for Rittenhouse. However, for a roughly equivalent period of time, he will remain a RW folk hero and can trade on that.

It's hard for me to get a job...well son...if you don't try...you won't get one. Stop living on hypotheticals

I don't agree AT ALL with what he did, but he is still a young kid who made a mistake. The tragedy here isn't Rittenhouse himself, but the way the courts and the media (the "Alternative Facts" media) have absolved him from the consequences of his mistake and instead made him out to be some vigilante hero. He is not that at all- just a kid with mixed up values who believed he was doing the right thing, but made a horrible mistake.

I guess, I don't really bear that much malice against him personally. I just wish they would stop making him out to be some folk hero for what he did.

Eh, I think they're the ones who created this monster in the first place. He didn't decide to go play Rambo in the streets of Kenosha in a vacuum.

I'm tempted to think this kid will not die a natural death -- but, then, George Zimmerman is, astonishingly, still alive.
