Why do I think it's going to get noisy in work on Sunday? Maybe it's because they have been screeching for me to bring in my Devils Chicken. They even told me how they want it, in smallish strips so they can serve it over rice.

I asked them if they wanted me to tame it down a bt for their tender bellies and they demanded I make it my usual full strength.

Yesterday I cut up the Chicken, (Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts) into small strips. I also made a nice Marinade. In the food processor I tossed an Onion Several Chipotle Peppers, a Handfull of Ancho Chilis as well as a handfull of Little Bird Peppers, an Entire Bulb of Garlic, (skinned) and several Tablespoons of my not yet patented Hot Sauce. (To give it a bit of liquid.)

I dumped the chicken into a Glass Bowl and then added the Marinade. After stirring it I made sure all of the chicken was well coated. It was covered and put in the fridge.

This evening it was Stir Fried with some Ginger.

Now it is sitting in a glass bowl along with thin sliced Onion and some more peppers.

Somehow I get the feeling I'll be hearing a lot of music coming from the bathroom come Sunday.

Are you bringing ice cream for dessert? Hehehe. ;)

Sounds good, and being from NM I don't need ice cream :D

I knew they guy who created 80% of the chile grown these days. Plant breeder in the Hort Dept. at NMSU. :D

Are you anywhere near Tampa? I have familey there I want to give them warning if they are down wind. :D:D:D That stuff sound just a little bit hot.

Sissies! All the food is hot here. Just like the weather.

Cat: That sounds delicious! Perhaps I might find it hot enough to make my eyes water and my nose run just a little? If not... maybe a few more peppers?

:cattail:

(Though perhaps not tonight. It's been a stressful week.)

I could be but then I am from the north. I like spicy but not fireball from hell heat. Now my bother has lived in the south for years. Who knows what he eat when he lived in Texas before moving to Tampa.

Hehe! My mom is from Swedish and Norweigen (I can't spell today sorry) decent and her idea of spicy was bland at best. My husband has been slowly broadening my spicy horizens but it is slow going.

Have fun, but I am glad that I am upwind!!

Tell me about it, I once had chili made by some Scandinavians from Minnesota. What a sad joke.

Course I'd like to see any y'all in the south to get through a serving of lutefisk...

My parents are Norwegian too and damn that food is good but some is so bland! UGH! But the desserts and cakes in Norwegian cooking rock

Okay so I brought this in today. It was reheated and served over rice then spread around to all who wanted some. By the time I was finished serving the bowl was empty and most of my co-workers were sweating, wpiping their eyes and blowing their noses.

What was kind of funny was how they were telling me they wanted me to make it again for next weekend, but with Beef. I looked at them sweating and crying and told them maybe we should wait and see how they reacted to it tomorrow before I made any plans. None of them seemed to understand, and the one that did was just sitting there smiling.

Tomorrow should be very musical.
