It's back...

I had to re-submit one of my stories (it was missing several paragraphs) and now it's on the "New" list again. I thought they just put an edit in place of what was there before. Is it on the new list because it was pulled from Lit and then re-submitted?

Not that I'm complaining because I'm getting the feedback and votes and surge in my other stories all over again.
