We have been moving slowly in this journey into BDSM. Well last night I got to experience something for the very first time. Nipple clamps.
We got the japanese clover clamps from the stockroom. They looked pretty, what can I say, Im such a girl.

I was aware they have a warning that they have a very firm grip, I was even somewhat nervous.

They do feel a little more...aware...I don't know if that is an actual physical effect or just me being so much more aware of them then I have ever been before.

I remember my first experience with nip clamps as well. We used clothespins, which we still use since we really haven't found anything better. We stay away from them the week before and a few days after I start my period because my nipples, unlike yours are VERY sensitive, and they are too painful during that time.

The Third Hand & Clamp

This heavy duty notion is great for hand sewing.
It keeps the fabric taut for even stitching. Or, to rip a seam, hold the fabric taut with The Third Hand. Your hands are free to remove the stitches! Especially helpful for sewers with arthritic hands

It does look workable but the way I figure it... At 8 dollars each it is 16 for the pair, another buck or so and the trip to home depot for the chain...time to put it together all and all I think it works out about even and the stockroom delivers to my door! In some cases sure there are cheaper home made versions but in this case I think it worked out about the same.

They sell for 6 on that site. And I already have some brass chain I bought for the test tube holder nipple clamp experiment. Never could get them to close tight enough.

The test tubes holders might work on squeamish male subs. I know I don't like anything clamping on my little nipples.

You are so right about paying too much and I'm happy to tell you that you can usually find those adjustable clips at any local sewing or quilting store (Joanns, Fabric World, Hancock). They are called bodkins and are used to pull elastic through a seam. They retail for about $1 each. Dip the pointed end in tool dip (True Value, HomeDepot) if you'd like and add a chain (and possibly some fishing weights from Wallyworld or a sporting goods store) and you're alll set.

Went on a field trip....

First off I headed out to Hancock Fabrics...bought 3 bodkins at $1.65 each/$4.95 plus tax....

Then I went to Ace hardware....got 6 plastic tips to cover bodkin edges at $.10 each/$.60, 4 ft of "chain" type material(to connect them all together) at $.35 a ft/ $1.44 .....

All this totalled at a little over $7....for my set of 3 clamps...

Next project will be to connect them...didn't get any weights yet but thought I might figure out a way to connect an old dog chocker chain....just enough weight and gives something to pull on, too....

**Couldn't wait til I got home...put on the tips and tried one in my car on the way ....works just like the one my friend paid $14 for....
