So far, so good for the prosecution. The defense presented a case long on verbage, short on evidence. The judge questioned the lack of same and was not impressed by the feeble response. Next stop, the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals that has the dubious record of the most verdicts overturned by the Supremes, but the Supremes will hear this one and I'm guessin' they'll come down on the side of the plaintiffs, since Prop. 8 disenfranchises gay and lesbian couples and violates the Constitution.

Nonsense. Fags can marry but they cant marry each other.

There are two issues, one is whether the state can regulate marriage. If it cant then any combination or permutation of people can marry. If Heather can have two mommies she can have five. Or she can marry her mom.

The 2nd issue is harm and remedy. How are fags harmed by law that prohibits same-sex marriage? What do they forfeit? How are they impaired?

If the issue were, say, zoning the fag argues that he's discriminated against cuz he cant operate a porn shop or titty bar in close proximity to a school or church. Or maybe he wants to move about nude thru the community. The beggar can make the same argument that his options are limited because of his assets.

I expect the Supremes will set back the Gay agenda about 50 years when the case gets to them.
