It's a miracle and we take it for granted.

The simple act of flushing a toilet, flipping a light switch, "dialing" a telephone, turning on a radio or t.v., flying in an airplane, driving a car, heating food in a microwave or using a computer is so commonplace today that we take these things for granted. As a matter of fact, we can't imagine life without them. But, at one time, these things didn't exist, believe it or not.

All of the wonderful inventions that make our life richer today are here because someone's intellect and imagination created them. Ah, the wonder of it all!!

Man can be so creative. I wonder if Man will ever be able to invent peace??

Not until the negative emotions of humanity....

Are fully controlled by us all or they are simply cast aside in favor of the positive human emotions.

Peace will only be possible then - it's a long way off.

Maybe one day fathers and mothers will

sicken of sending their children off to war and tell their leaders to go, instead. Maybe that's when we will have peace.

You really are a snide bastard, R....

Nitelight. There is a market for peace. We just aren't willing to pay the price.

Not to be pessimistic here, but there will always be that one entity which will thrive on upsetting the balance. Too much money is made on unrest. Peace worldwide would be a miracle, I think...But then again, miracles do happen...

Wow...

Hmm... I love backpacking and living without all of those things... but then.. I also love returning back to my warm bed after all that time and checking my email...

Why must everything being such a fucking oxymoron for me?
