It sort of makes it all worthwhile, or down to Earth with a bump

I received the following feedback. I was looking forward to reading it. I had just spent 15 months writing my last story.

You look like Andy in the tv series NYPD blue. Probably others have
told you this

No story had been read. No vote cast.

Just that I look like some actor in a TV show I've never even seen.

LOL! :D

Thank you SO much for this post. I was just reading some of the other threads and was getting very depressed and felt like crying ( I swear, I'm gonna let rip later), but, you came along and made me laugh.

Cheers, honey!

this is te second time I've stumbled onto a thread that somehow mentions Lou's armpit. (On a side note when I was a little girl visiting my grandmother in the deep south I was not allowed to wear shirts that were sleeveless. Her reason (being the churchy holy rolling type) The armpit resembels a vagina. She didn't want men scoping out my pits. Think of all the heat stroke I could have been spared if she knew men were the least of her worries

If there's another mention, let me know okay? I'll need to post a poll about her armpits.

Dennis Franz. A wonderful actor, and NYPD Blue was one of the best-written television dramas in its early years. When they killed off Jimmy Smits I sobbed like a child and haven't watched it since. They're famous for killing off characters. Andy's wife, Andy's son, Andy's other wife, Andy's partner, Andy's...You get the drift. I take the deaths too seriously, because the writing is too good and the characters are too real. (They could kill the entire cast of Law & Order and I'd be just fine. People don't talk like that.)

When NYPD Blue was a top-rated series and had advertising sponsors begging for more, they were famous for pushing the network censors to the edge.

They were the first prime-time non-cable series to broadcast "shit."

They were the alledgedly the first to broadcast "fuck," although I missed that one and it could be an urban legend.

They were the first to have a cop call a suspect an "asshole."

They were also the first to have men's naked butts on camera. I missed Jimmy Smits' butt.

:(

I did see the Dennis Franz butt scene, and although I find the character sexy, he does not have a cute butt. It wasn't nearly as offensive as Harvey Keitel's penis in "The Piano," but it wasn't pretty. I'll bet your butt is cuter, even though there is a definite facial resemblance. He has a tough-guy face. Tough-sexy.

His character, Andy Sipowitz, had been dating a woman but they hadnt had sex because he was still a guilt-ridden widower. He was in the shower in the famous Sipowitz's Butt episode, and his date decided to join him. He wasn't happy about it. At first.

"I usually wash that myself..."

< pause >

"It's clean now, okay?"

< pause >

"That's going to be really clean, isn't it!"

Here's Andy for you:

Oh, Sher, I LOVE that show!

Certain episodes make me cry every time I see them.

I still watch the new shows, but it's on Court TV every day at 5 (here), and I don't care what I'm doing. I stop, and sit down for my NYPD Blue fix for the day.

Andy Sipowitz is my favorite character. He's so flawed, but so damned good!

And yes, Jimmy Smits is always hot, but Bobby Simone was another great character.

If you like this kind of show, watch "The Shield". Awesome show, I am halfway through the second season. There are some of the best written characters I've ever seen.

As for NYPD Blue, I have seen some of the earlier episodes, when Caruso and Smits were still in it, but lost track eventually (and they stopped showing it here in Germany).

I know more than I want to know about armpits.

The thought of Tatelou's armpit is a turn on. Maybe if she flashed it I might finish the story.

Og

PS. Only 'maybe'. I'd probably need a close inspection to be inspired.

thanks for the pic

Thanks for the pic, Sher.

I don't think I look anything like him myself. But then, who sees themselves as others see them?
