My mood totally crashes for at least 3 hours after having an orgasm. This confuses me: isn't it supposed to IMPROVE your mood

well, the important thing here is to understand why. i mean, i sometimes crash afterwards, but physically. of course, being a guy, i think that's pretty common. :>

the immediate question that springs to my mind however is whether you'd say you have a healthy self-esteem. it's possible that you don't feel that you "deserve" to feel good. i've known people like this IRL, which is why i mention it.

after you have an orgasm, the hormones in your body kind of go off into strange places. it can have an effect on you in various ways just like PMS can impact different women differently.

as with anything else in this vein, if it compromises your lifestyle in any negative way, maybe see a doctor about it.
