It Made Me Feel Good.

I saw something today that put a smile on my heart.

For as long as I can remember I knew a family who were pretty poor, tho the daddy worked and had no drinking problems. He wasn't horribly bright. I went all the way thru school with 2 of his boys. Pleasant, decent guys.

Anyway I saw some FACEBOOK pix today of my old buds, and they have prospered! They live pretty good, as a matter of fact. Still married to their high school sweethearts after 45 years.

There was a family that lived in town the whole time I was growing up. They were retarded as hell from the top down. I guess you have to wonder how that happens. They were always introducing lice to the various classes they we in, did the nose picking/booger flicking thing and all that goes with it. The dad owned a repair shop and could weld a pop bottle to a horse's ass. He had no teeth of course and was always covered from head to toe with gear lube and smelled of stale cigars, one tiny butt always in the corner of his mouth.

I have no idea how any of them are today. I wonder if they perpetuated the madness any further?
