Ouch, not Fun. California isn't supposed to get near hurricane force winds and we did this past weekend. Took out powerlines, and phone lines (We were without power for about 18 hours, and without phone for 12).

There is no snow in Texas but there is snow in New England and if there were snow in Texas they should have to take it from New England for Texas does not snow and New England has a surplus of snow, therefore, I do not think it there will be snow lady for who would take the snow from there to here in this recession?

Well my wonderful and beautiful Shy, you know if you need someone to keep you warm in that cold weather you are having I would be glad to come down and keep you warm. After all I am use to that cold stuff even though it isn't that cold up here in Gods country yet.

On the strange front, I had to drive up from my home in MD to central PA over the weekend and weathered not only the worst rainstorm I've ever seen in my life (for the second time ever I had to pull off the road), but fog for nearly 2/3 of the trip. And it wasn't just normal fog. I mean, the movie "The Fog" had less fog! It was Jack the Ripper fog!
Ick. I can't wait for the normalcy of winter to finally arrive.

It's snowing right now in Reno. A light dusting. We got about an inch over the weekend too.
As a southern California native, I'll probably never get used to cold weather and snow. I'm used to wearing shorts in February, dammit!
Oh well, it can't be worse than Connecticut was last winter. *shivers at the thought of another New England winter*
