The Trump fans were in a pen set up by police near Trump Tower on Monday evening, chanting "God bless President Trump.

Demonstrators were in pens police erected across the street from Trump Tower by early Monday evening, hours before his expected arrival.


Police have stationed sand-filled sanitation trucks as barriers around the skyscraper and layers of metal police barricades around the main entrance.

As of 8:25, Trump had not arrived.
But, there were plenty of protesters.

Thousands of New Yorkers are protesting for days

Emperor Carrot was scheduled to fly into JFK Airport at 8:15 p.m. Monday, then take a helicopter to the Wall Street Landing Zone and a car to Trump Tower. He was supposed to arrive home around 9 p.m., and planned to sleep there both Monday and Tuesday nights, the White House said.

The president is expected to remain in Trump Tower through Wednesday, according to Mayor Bill de Blasio, who will be in New Hampshire on a vacation of his own. Trump was initially expected to get to the city Sunday.

Previously, on Sunday, more than 1,000 activists reportedly gathered outside Trump Tower to protest what they saw as the president's soft, somewhat wishy-washy reaction to Saturday's deadly white-power rally in Charlottesville, Virginia. "No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA!" they chanted.

Young people, old people middle aged people, all gathered in the thousands, to tell Emperor Carrot, "New York hates you, the whole world hates you."

"Blood on your hands." "Fuck White Supremacy."

There will be plenty of protests, in the coming days, to keep Emperor Carrot company while he is at Trump Tower.
