It Happened!

My sister (younger sister, only 16...) had her baby this evening. Little Jake Ryan was born at 6:18 pm est weighing in at a perfect 6lbs 4ozs and 18.5 inches long, with a full head of strawberry blonde hair. Mom and baby are doing just fine, and Dad is all excited. We stayed till 8pm (when visiting hours are over), and hopefully, Auntie Me will get to hold the little tike sometime tomorrow. Also, even though God-Mother hasn't been decided just yet, I am in the running (It's between me and my older sister).

Congrats! Just don't be too disappointed if God mother goes to your older sister. We kind of did it by seniority in my family, so I got the honor first as the oldest girl. I think it is hard to decide between siblings and that made it easier to explain the pick. Besides, my little sister got the next one.
