Good God, there was a reason Sarah didn't go out with her friends from high school anymore. They still thought they were in high school and acted so immature at times. They were the only group in the bar that was laughing loudly and embarrassing Sarah...

With a shake of her head, she needed to get away from them, so she picked up her drink and headed over to the bar to take a breather...

She was nursing her 3rd cocktail, which put her to the point of being a little tipsy, when she saw someone walk up beside her by the reflection of the mirror behind the bar.

In all truths, Sarah wasn't looking for anything tonight except a good time with her friends... but seeing as how that was in the crapper now, she was open to what ever happened...

“Excuse me, I just wanted to come over here and say you were the most beautiful woman in the bar and I really mean that and I would love to buy you a drink but even if I can’t I just wanted you to know how stunning you are.”

When he spoke, Sarah couldn't help but smile. She heard lines before from men but very few meant it. She turned to look at the man...look up really, and nodded to the man and waved to the seat beside her, "You don't have to buy me anything…just have a seat and keep me busy so I don't have to go back over there.." she said, looking in the direction of the group of women, still laughing it up.

It was true though. Sarah really was that pretty. Dan had spotted her the minute she worked in the door. She stood out a bit. She looked a little more sophisticated than the group of girls she was with, carried herself differently too. Again, of course, it didn't matter what groups of girls she had been with she was that damn pretty.

Dan did of course as the lovely Sarah ordered and he took a seat on the barstool next to her. Ordering himself a scotch neat he smiled at her "You trying to get away from the flock?" He teased her softly.

Another chorus of laughter from Sarah's group and Dan smiles at her quipping, "I'm going to assume they probably don't have a volume control." Looking over in their direction then at Sarah he grins "So how come you aren't doing well that?"
