Good God, there was a reason Sarah didn't go out with her friends from high school anymore. They still thought they were in high school and acted so immature at times. They were the only group in the bar that was laughing loudly and embarrassing Sarah...
With a shake of her head, she needed to get away from them, so she picked up her drink and headed over to the bar to take a breather...
She was nursing her 3rd cocktail, which put her to the point of being a little tipsy, when she saw someone walk up beside her by the reflection of the mirror behind the bar.
In all truths, Sarah wasn't looking for anything tonight except a good time with her friends... but seeing as how that was in the crapper now, she was open to what ever happened...
“Excuse me, I just wanted to come over here and say you were the most beautiful woman in the bar and I really mean that and I would love to buy you a drink but even if I can’t I just wanted you to know how stunning you are.”
When he spoke, Sarah couldn't help but smile. She heard lines before from men but very few meant it. She turned to look at the man...look up really, and nodded to the man and waved to the seat beside her, "You don't have to buy me anything…just have a seat and keep me busy so I don't have to go back over there.." she said, looking in the direction of the group of women, still laughing it up.
