With all our whining and nitpicking, we are damn lucky to live here in the States. A hand count here means each vote is hand counted. I wonder what it means in other countries? That you chop off your hand and give it to the man you vote for? you wouldn't make a mistake then, would you?
Okay, a little extreme. But read this and understand why I think we better stop whining about all this.
it is from CNN:
Violence breaks out in anticipation of election

MANAGUA, Nicaragua (AP) -- Violence
has broken out across northern

least one dead, and more than a dozen injured in Puerto Cabezas.More than 30 people were arrested.
• Two rival candidates dueled outside a bar in the town of El Ayote, 300 kilometers (185 miles) east of Managua, leaving one dead and the other seriously injured.
• Police and ex-Sandinista soldiers clashed, leaving five police officers injured in Jinotega, 160 kilometers (100 miles) north of Managua.
• A group of 15 men from the Yatama Indian organization opened fire onelection officials in the Atlantic region, 350 kilometers (220 miles) northeast of Managua. No injuries were reported.

Just a thought.
