It’s About Time

Would love to see it just to see all the heads that would explode. But not gonna happen.

Now if he wants my respect...start campaigning w Biden. It was HIS voters that refused to support Clinton. And he did NOTHING to prevent it. As a result, I totally view everything bad Trump has done...which is everything...as HIS fault, not Trump. You want to be a leader Bernie? Prove it. Lead your supporters to vote Biden

I’m so sad to hear he suspended his campaign. I was still holding-out hope. Guess it’s time to get in board with Biden. :(

he should have conceded gracefully weeks ago

now the onus is on him to urge his bernie-ites to come together and support biden as the nominee as their differences with him are far less than their differences with trump

i find it a shame it's come down to biden at the end of the day, but maybe if he wins then he can populate his cabinet with a lot of fresh blood that'll lift the dems up beyond the 'old white guy' thing

I hope so. The struggle continues.

Bernie and Biden

It would be nice if Bernie and Biden could both get rooms in the same nursing home. It would be great if they could sit in the activity room kicking balloons and talk about the time when they both had dreams of being able to beat Donald Trump. I realize that Biden wont remember any of this a few years from now and Bernie will soon be rushed to the cardiac room so it will never happen. But what a great photo shoot it would make. Today is April 8, 2020. Let's dredge this up about in about two years and see if I have this right.

Bernie did the right thing this election cycle.
His scorched-earth campaign in 2016 went a long way towards installing Trump in the White House.
I salute him for doing the right thing this time.

I'm still not too excited about Joe Biden, but anyone is better than Trump.

Agreed. He was certainly not my first pick from the field. As we both said, the party should have coalesced at the outset of this pandemic.

It done did, indeed.

I think he’s done a lot of good, but he should have dropped out, at the very latest, 3 weeks ago, all things considered.

I agree. Don't really have anything against him per sé, but he should've read the writing on the wall.

He could have had a chance, but it turns out that campaigning against the Democratic Party while running to be its nominee, and hiring a bunch of people who have made a career out of fighting other left-of-center folks instead of winning races against Republicans, was actually not a great idea.

I think the inability to campaign in person brought this to an end earlier than it would have otherwise. There was no way to make a case with people housebound and preoccupied with something else.

I spend much more time than I should wondering what this race would have looked like if neither Biden nor Bernie had run. There were so many good candidates, but almost none of them could get any oxygen because the two geezers with universal name recognition wouldn't get out of the way.

Exactly...even Clinton is better than Trump

Bernie Sanders has been looking to the private sector for his next position.

Naw. Just kidding! Back to being a useless Senator with no accomplishments.

:D

British socialist can't keep her uppity, nosy self from offering play-by-play analysis about American political concerns she has absolutely no political voice (vote) in, just her assho...I mean...socialist partisan opinion.

She wannabe a deceitful American 2nd class citizen sooooo bad.

How bad, Harri?

It's not bad enough she despises the very revolutionary political principles America was declared and founded upon, no, the ONLY way your socialist piece of shit mail order bride can possibly become a citizen is if she lies through her rotting death when she has to swear to the following:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen; that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States when required by the law; that I will perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by the law; and that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; so help me God.

A pathologically lying socialist who hates America as declared and founded - you sure know how to find the turd at the bottom of the barrel, Harri. No wonder you love eating that foreign enemy shit sooooo much.

Might put us one step closer to a female President which will, to the delight of many, have the GB’s angry old misogynistic Wackpackers foaming at the mouth.

I really hope he picks Harris as his Veep.

I got news for you. Biden is losing no matter what Sanders does.

I literally had a front row seat to the s@&t show that was our last convention.

His path to the nomination was closed a long while ago.
