One of my stories is first person, but changes point of view every chapter. I usually put the name of the person who's point of view it is at the beginning of the chapter so people don't get confused. I received a complaint about it in a comment on the third chapter so i find it important those points of views remain at the top of the chapter.

For whatever reason, in the last chapter the moderator who posted it removed the point of view. I sent in an edited version specifically asking for it to be kept there and why, yet still no change.

Why? All of my other chapters maintained the point of view. Every single other chapter has it so why refuse to put it on this one? I just don't understand and I'm a little upset about it, honestly.

The forum moderators have nothing to do with the story file. There is only one submissions editor here--one of the site owners, Laurel, and she is only reachable by PM (private message, upper right on this page). You need to connect with her directly on this this.

I see. at this point i think Im just going to take down my work and start posting somewhere else. its not worth the trouble trying to get ahold of her. Ive tried before and it was such a hassle. thank you for the response.

That's understandable if you're not hearing back from her.

How long did you wait after the edited submission was processed? Edits, once approved, take somewhere in the neighborhood of 24 hours to appear on the site.

If you haven't waited that long, I would suggest checking back after that much time has passed to see if the change has updated in the site cache to be visible.

If it has, I would suggest adding a note to the "Notes" section of the submission form every time you submit a chapter in this story, reminding Laurel that the header with the POV character is there for a reason.

Best idea.

To be honest, I've made a few lady friends over the years that liked my stuff, (I just ignore the blokes)
but you're probably right. The only thing that attracted me to here was the amount of views. The forum is full of knobrots, bitchy old queens etc.
